Hi, I am Mijpe and a successful professional artist for 10 years. I have also lived through and conquered all these barriers and learned how to continually make progress in my professional development. That's why many people ask me how I do this. I therefore started to conduct workshops and have helped many participants to make great strides in their development.

In my workshops, the participants learn to cross their boundaries. Everyone is getting stuck during the workshop, there is almost no exception. But I support you as long until you have overcome your obstacles and will come to a great result. Everyone, without exception, is always returning home with great satisfaction and a fantastic painting. And participants often return to my workshops for a new development.

THE WORKSHOP

A workshop starts with coffee, tea and cake and explanation. Soon you will get started with your own canvas and any materials you might have brought along. When the weather permits, we will also be working outside. A foundation is established and the broad lines are set up. We frequently discuss the ongoing progress, in the group as well as individually.

Usually around lunch, everyone gets stuck in the work. This is where I will confront you and help you with your barriers. We discuss your experience and I will teach you to envision your blockages and overcome them. Then we always experience a breakthrough.

There will be enough time remaining to complete the work and discuss the results in the group. At the end we celebrate the results with drinks and a snacks.

THE DETAILS

A workshop in my studio is limited to maximum 6 participants. You can bring along all kinds of materials that you may want to include in your painting, such as images from newspapers, magazines, photographs, texts and sheet music, old books, colored or specialty paper or fabric or anything else that comes to mind. If you want, you can bring an apron. Just make sure you wear clothes that may get covered with paint. You choose a canvas size (80 x 80 cm or 100 x 100 cm) and get to work.

YOUR INVESTMENT

one day workshop
Your investment to overcome your barriers and make a new step in your creativity, experience a great day and return home with a beautiful painting is just € 195 (including canvas, paint, available materials, all food and drinks, VAT). During the day, you will be well taken care of with food, drinks and a lunch. Please let me know in advance when you have special dietary requirements.

4 evening workshops
Your investment for 4 evenings is € 220 (incl. drinks, VAT, ecl. materials).

DATES AND LOCATION

Navigate to the sidebar and choose a suitable date or evenings. We can set a date in mutual agreement if you already have a group of 4 to 6 people. The workshop takes place in and around my beautiful studio in the forest, the “Koepel van Stoop”, a19th-century teahouse on the Den Treek-Henschoten estate in the centre of the country.
